Cheese

The Hubs and I apologize for being off-radar for several weeks. We have been eating pizza, let me assure you, but we've been too busy with life to write about them. :( Some of the highlights include...

* enjoying Cabot Pizza with our family from NYC
* snacking on post-marathon pizza in Maine
* hitting up Dominos for our Wednesday night dinners in front of the TV

Something of note is that Dominos has an option to eat less cheese. When you order a pizza from Dominos you can opt for a "less cheese" pizza. Some of us (The Hubs) were a little unsure about checking that box, so we ordered two - one normal and one with less cheese. The consensus was that "less cheese" is the better option by far. It tasted yummy and the cheese was "more of a normal, mainstream amount," said The Hubs. The amount of cheese was similar to their former recipe but with improved sauce and crust and garlicy goodness, thus avoiding the cardboard effect. Overall, this "less cheese" option is a total win.

  1. Good to know about the "less cheese" option.

Did you hear about the USDA "cheese bailout" of companies like Domino's? http://civileats.com/2010/11/08/dominos-pizza-and-the-usda-the-bailout-you-didnt-hear-about/
